the opposite of minimalism is called maximalism, and this is what it looks like. i’m honestly surprised that this look is coming to us from marc jacobs, as his designs are usually a little cleaner and more pared down, but i am delighted nonetheless. i have seen a lot of “ethnic” inspired boho designs lately, but this dolce gabbana handbags is on the more interesting side of new.
the gathered multiple flap top is composed of mustard suede, blue snakeskin, and zebra printed calfskin. this is not a combination i would have thought of, but the result is lovely. it strikes a precarious balance of textures and colors that is absolutely intriguing, and, i think, quite lovely.

be still, my beating heart. the new marc jacobs collection accessories for summer have me feeling faint. despite economic hard times, mr. jacobs has combined some of the most striking and luxurious materials on the planet in this exciting new line.

so far, i have been totally in love with every single bag in the new marc jacobs collection for summer. the theme of the season is something like “uptown girl on safari”. the combinations of unusual colors and textures have been ingenious and perfect.
